Wild Lights Dublin Zoo Highlights
In a nutshell, the Wild Lights Fest takes you on a magical trip, "Around the World," in which you will see some of the most famous global landmarks and symbols–but made of lights. The festival features exhibits and art displays of different cultures–from Spain to India and Morocco.
You'll be able to explore the ancient Egyptian pyramids, take a romantic walk by the Eiffel Tower, learn all about Irish legends and folklore, and even go to space. Wild Lights at the Dublin Zoo offers a variety of beautiful Christmas lights, such as rope, fairy, net, icicle, LED-curtain, and more. All these aspects make the show a memorable experience.
It is crucial to know that there is a profound meaning behind the show. For example, at the festival, every display tells a story. It is a tribute to the people who told us stories that took us to strange and magical places when we were kids. You can find characters from Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and other well-known fairy tales. Plus, the festival itself emphasizes the importance of saving nature.

Location
Dublin Zoo was founded in 1831, as a private society by anatomists and physicists and supported by wealthy subscribers. In 1840, the London Zoo gifted the Dublin Zoo 46 mammals and 72 birds. That same year, the zoo opened to the public. Visitors could enter for just a penny, but only on Sundays. Today, the 28-hectare Dublin Zoo has been completely transformed and now attracts over 1 million visitors annually.
