Bratislava Jazz Days 2024 in Slovakia

Bratislava Jazz Days is a three-day festival held annually in October at A4 Studio. The festival was created in 1975 by the famous Slovak promoter of jazz, Peter Lipa. In the beginning, it was a small event, where only local bands from Czechoslovakia performed. Later on, the festival grew to become an incredibly prominent occasion, visited by lots of famous jazz bands and singers from Europe and America.

Festival Lineup

Bratislava Jazz Days Festival has seen worldwide jazz performers such as Esperanza Spalding, Snarky Puppy, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Gregory Porter, Jack de Johnette, Kurt Elling, and Gogo Penguin. It's a great chance to discover different genres of jazz, including jazz funk, free jazz, jazz-rock, and many others. This year, the lineup features Manchester trio GoGo Penguin, Brazilian singer Bia Ferreira, Bill Frisell Four, and Richard Galliano New York Tango Trio.

Tickets & Hours

There are several ticketing options, including free seating, a dedicated seat, and a VIP pass. Free seating costs €39 for one day and €93 for the entire festival. Seat ticket costs €49 for one day and €120 for the festival. VIP ticket costs €93 for a day and €230 for the entire festival run. VIP passes provide refreshments, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. Children under 12 and wheelchair users can enter for free. Performances begin at 7 pm on October 18-19 and at 6 pm on October 20.
