


Bratislava Jazz Days Featured in
Bratislava Jazz Days is a three-day festival held annually in October at Park kultúry a oddychu. The festival was created in 1975 by the famous Slovak promoter of jazz Peter Lipa. In the beginning, it was a small event, where just local bands from Czechoslovakia performed. Later on, the festival became a super prominent occasion visited by lots of famous jazz bands and singers from Europe and America.
Bratislava Jazz Days Festival has seen worldwide jazz performers such as Esperanza Spalding, Snarky Puppy, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Gregory Porter, Jack de Johnette, Kurt Elling, and Gogo Penguin. It's a great chance to discover different genres of jazz including jazz funk, free jazz, jazz rock, and many others.
