Jazzkaar 2025 in Tallinn

The largest jazz festival in the Baltic states!

Dates: April 21-28, 2025

Jazzkaar is an annual music festival, which takes place in late April at Vaba Lava and Fotografiska Tallinn, Estonia. As the name hints, the event focuses on jazz music. Since its beginning in 1990, Jazzkaar has attracted dozens of internationally-acclaimed artists, such as Gregory Porter, Jan Garbarek, and Pat Metheny.

The festival typically spans over a week and features about 3,000 performers from 60 countries. These numbers make it the biggest jazz festival in the Baltic states. No wonder, it appears to be a true magnet for tens of thousands of concert-goers, including seasoned jazz buffs and casual listeners. Thus, Jazzkaar also claims to be the best-attended festival in the country.

As for admission, you can opt for festival passes granting access to all concerts or day tickets, which are limited. The tickets are sold online on Jazzkaar's official website and can be exchanged for wristbands at the information desk, set on Telliskivi Square. All additional information and the latest announcements are provided on the official sources (check the External Resources below).
