Every fall, between late September and early October, Indy Jazz Fest, presented by the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation, attracts fans of ragtime and blues to The Hoosier City. The festival features live concerts at Macallister Amphitheatre in Garfield Park and other venues throughout Indianapolis. With performances ranging from swing and bebop to Latin jazz and blues, there’s something for everyone at this vibrant event.
Lineup
The Indy Jazz Fest lineup boasts an impressive array of talent. Headliners include the legendary GRAMMY Award-winner Chaka Khan, bass icon Marcus Miller, and renowned singer-songwriter Michael Franks. Also performing are Steve Allee & the Magic Hour Band, with Indy’s own legendary piano force reuniting his chart-topping contemporary band for this special occasion. The festival will also feature many other exceptional artists.
JF24 Grand Finale (September 28, 2024)
The festival will culminate with its grand finale at Everwise Amphitheater in downtown Indianapolis, located at White River State Park. Gates open at 3 pm, and tickets start at $55.
