Parker County Peach Festival is an annual event held on the second Saturday of July in Weatherford, Texas. The festival, which was founded in 1985, celebrates agricultural crops from local farmers and provides high-quality entertainment.
Over 40,000 attendees gather in the historic Downtown Weatherford to enjoy three stages for entertainment, including a children's stage, as well as more than 225 vendors, offering quality arts and crafts, local produce, and food. In addition, many antique shops offer specials throughout the day. Parker County Peach Festival runs from 8 am to 4 pm.
Parker County Peach Festival highlights include a marketplace near the Parker County Courthouse, the Peach Pedal bike rally, a “42” domino tournament, mini-train rides as well as the Kiddie Korner with slides, rides, carousel, Tubs of Fun, bounce houses, and face painting. No less exciting are the festival's foods: peach cobblers and pies, homemade peach ice cream, juleps, peach tea, peach smoothies, and traditional fair foods: funnel cake, turkey legs, and corn. The live music lineup of the festival features local and regional talent.
