The annual BIG Salsa Festival takes place in New York City on Memorial Day Weekend every year in May. The festival that attracts over 2,000 dancers is held in New York Hilton Midtown Hotel on 6th Avenue. For four straight days, the hotel becomes the world's Mecca of salsa, gathering the best dance instructors from all over the world, the most amazing performances by talented salsa and bachata dancers, DJs, and musicians. So get ready to dance the night away in the heart of the Big Apple!
BIG Salsa Festival is the premier Latin dance event of the year in NYC featuring dozens of dance workshops, shows, live music performances. and parties with best DJs from 9 am to 4 am every day. Famous salsa and bachata artists performing at the festival include Karel Flores, Jose Diaz, Yamulee, Tito & Tamara, and many others. Ocho y Mas and New Swing Sextet were some of the past live bands.
Over 40 world-class dance instructors including Karen & Ricardo, Adolfo Indacochea, Eddie Torres Jr, Alex & Desiree, Maria Ramos, Alma Latina, Franklin Diaz, Fausto & Kate, Chucho & Aris, Delia Madera, Ernesto & Denisse, MG Dance Company, Zafire, Magna Gopal, Jorjet Alcocer, and many others share their knowledge and experience at over 50 workshops for dancers of all levels.
