The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival takes place on the first weekend after Labor Day in Beavercreek, Ohio. Thousands of people flock to stroll through the lines of over 300 booths offering delicious foods, creative arts and crafts, and all possible things one can make from popcorn. The two-day event features non-stop live entertainment, a 5K Popcorn Run, a car show, a kids' area with inflatables, contests, and games.

Schedule of Events

Taking place over two days, the festival offers a wide array of activities and attractions to enjoy. On Saturday, festivities kick off at 10 am and continue until 8 pm, featuring highlights such as the thrilling 5k Run starting at 8:30 am. Sunday's festivities begin at 11 am and wrap up at 6 pm, with the day's main event being the Car Show. Registration for the Car Show runs from 9 am to 12 noon, followed by the showcase from 12 pm to 4 pm.

5k and Fitness Walk

Participants are welcomed to Shoup Park, for an exciting lineup of races! Visitors can take part in a 5k run/walk for $25, providing a scenic opportunity to enjoy the surroundings while getting active. For the little ones, there's a 1/4 mile kids fun run obstacle course. Kids will dash, leap, crawl, and more through the obstacles. Each registered child will receive a t-shirt and a medal to commemorate their participation. The cost of the kids run is $10, and it kicks off at 8:15 am.

Entertainment

Special events of the festival include Beavercreek Dance, Quest Dance, Rock Island Plow, Quest Gymnastics, Celtic Academy of Irish Dance, and other performances. The musical lineup features country and rock bands from the Midwest and all over the U.S. The Kidz Area at the Popcorn Festival offers a secure and family-friendly environment. Tickets for attractions are priced at 25 cents each. The Popcorn Festival also features a Beer Garden, complete with ample seating in the shade. Visitors can also catch football games on TV throughout both Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, festival-goers can partake in One Voice, a collective worship experience.

The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival is situated on Dayton-Xenia Road, nestled between North Fairfield Road and Meadow Bridge Drive. Meanwhile, the Car Show takes place at Shoup Par. Festival parking is conveniently available at several parking lots along N Fairfield Rd, Dayton Xenia Rd, Meadow Bridge Dr, and Rodenbeck Dr.

History of Beavercreek Popcorn Festival

The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival was founded in 1987 to celebrate the agricultural heritage of the Beavercreek Community.
