The Corn Palace Festival is an annual celebration and redecoration of the unique Corn Palace located at 604 North Main Street in Mitchell, South Dakota. Thousands of people also gather in the palace to see big-name entertainers that headline the festival, try the fantastic carnival rides, delicious food and shop for souvenirs, arts and crafts. In the past years, Johnny Cash, The Beach Boys, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Billy Currington and Jake Owen performed at the Palace.

Also, the palace attracts large crowds during the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo every July and the Corn Palace Polka Festival every September.
