The two-day MuslimFest takes place either in late August or early September at the Celebration Square on 300 City Centre Drive in Mississauga, featuring Muslim musicians, artists, and comedians. Being organized by DawaNet, TorontoMuslims.com, and Sound Vision Canada in 2004, the festival attracts about 10,000 visitors per day.

MuslimFest offers a variety of shows and a colorful international bazaar. Among the most significant highlights are an international exhibition of arts, film festival, and fashion show. Besides entertainment, there are several educational workshops. The final performance usually includes well-known Muslim musicians, nasheed artists, and comedians.

The first Muslim-oriented festival in Canada hosted such performers and artists as Junaid Jamshed, Khaleel Muhammad, Dawud Wharnsby, Zain Bhikha, Idris Phillips, Irfan Makki and more.
