Festival History

This international festival begins in August or September and lasts till the end of October or early November. The Festival de las Naciones has originated from the Expo in 1992, which brought to Seville people from many countries, establishing their national pavilions on Isla Cartuja. Over the years, the festival has changed several locations, but most often, it's held in the Prado de San Sebastian park.

Entertainment

Music and dance entertainment are among the biggest highlights of the Festival. You can expect to see many Spanish artists and international acts, from world music to Mexican Mariachi to Cuban Conga and beyond. Dance performances include belly dancing, flamenco, samba, rumba, and much more.

Food

You can hardly find more food diversity anywhere. Festival de las Naciones is where you can choose between French frog leggs, Latin American empanadas, sushi with Kirin beer, Indian samosas and Greek saouvlaki.
