Take in the views of the endless Southern Utah skies and landscapes at the Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally. This mesmerizing event, often called the Panguitch Balloon Festival, takes place during the last full weekend in June in Panguitch City. Hundreds of participants and viewers gather to watch an incredible scene of colorful hot air balloons soaring into the open skies.

The Festival usually features other activities and entertainment for attendees, such as live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities, making it a fun-filled weekend for people of all ages.

Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally Entertainment

Three mornings in a row, from 6 am to 9 am, mass ascension takes 30 balloons up into the sky. On the first two days of the festival, from 10 am to 10 pm, visitors can explore the variety of food and craft vendors. The Egg Drop is scheduled for 3 pm on Friday at Baseball Field.

On Friday night, music fills the central streets of Panguitch, at the crossroads of Main and Center St. Saturday promises a rich program with the 5K race, kids activities, a Biker Parade, bingo and prizes, food vendors, and other family fun. The day ends with live music and the legendary Balloon Glow from 9 to 10 pm in the city center. Sunday morning is the last chance to witness the mass balloon ascension. All balloon events are weather-dependent. Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally is free for the public to attend.
