Atlanta can be rather hot in July, and that's when the annual Ice Cream Festival comes especially handy. Over 120 vendors offer delicious cool goodness in Piedmont Park as well as various games and activities. There is a morning 5k Fight Cancer Walk, wellness engagement and fitness routines, crafts vendors as well as live music and other entertainment.
The Atlanta Ice Cream Festival was held for the first time in 2010. It now attracts about 25,000 people every year. Visitors can enjoy various kinds of delicious desserts and then burn off extra-calories with Zumba, Yoga, Double Dutch Routines, Hula Hoop Competitions, Jump Rope Fun, Frisbee Toss, Tai Chi and other exciting activities. The festival runs from 11 a.m to 6 p.m.
