Branson Landing Winter Wonderland (November 2, 2024–January 4, 2025)
During the holiday season, Branson Landing's downtown area transforms into a festive wonderland. The scenic boardwalk along the 1.5-mile (2.5-km) Taneycomo Lakefront boasts a lively shopping district, entertainment, and the iconic Branson Landing Fountains. Each November, the area hosts a Christmas tree and wreath exhibition. The centerpiece of Winter Wonderland at Branson Landing is a stunning 50-foot (15-m) Christmas tree in the town square, adorned with twinkling lights synchronized to music. Throughout the holiday season, the main stage by the tree features numerous concerts and performances.
This year, Branson Landing's Winter Wonderland will start on November 2 at 7:30 pm with the tree lighting ceremony and will last til 10 pm January 4, 2025.
Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City (November 2–December 30, 2024)
Old Time Christmas is the largest holiday light display in the Ozarks, stunning visitors with over 6.5 million lights across the Silver Dollar City. The amusement park is open from 11 am to 10 pm, and reservations are required. Visitors can also see the Christmas In Midtown light spectacular located between Valley Woodcarvers and the Wilderness Road Blacksmith Shop at the Silver Dollar City Amusement Park. In addition to light displays, concerts and shows are planned to keep everyone entertained. For instance, you can enjoy Rudolph's Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade, a musical procession of lighted floats and dozens of costumed characters through the streets of Silver Dollar City. One-day Theme Park tickets cost $92. Tickets for visitors aged 4–11 and 65+ are discounted by $10.
Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru at Expressway Lane (November 1, 2024–January 5, 2025)
Branson's Lights of Joy is the city's premier holiday drive-thru experience, featuring over 300 displays with more than one million twinkling LED lights. The 1.2-mile (1.9-km) illuminated trail offers photo opportunities and entertainment to enhance the holiday spirit. The drive takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, and the display operates from 5 pm to 11 pm. This year, Santa will make more appearances, offering free pictures and selfies on most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Hot chocolate is available while supplies last. Tickets are $25 for family cars and $50 for mini-buses and limos, with higher prices from Thursday to Sunday.
Let There Be Lights at Promised Land Zoo (November 1–December 31, 2024)
Lights at Promised Land Zoo is the newest and longest drive-thru light display in Branson. The 2-mi (3.2 km) holiday light trail is open every night in November and December. In addition to lights, visitors can enjoy an encounter with a reindeer herd, which includes a photo opportunity with Sven, Rudolph, and Prancer. Other options are Santa's Safari, Elves' Secret Giftshop, and Candyland Courtyard with dancing trees and popular Christmas music. Admission for carloads of up to six people is priced at $30, while carloads with seven or more passengers are available for $45.
The Trail of Lights at Shepherd of the Hills (November 1–December 31, 2024)
The 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead transforms into a holiday paradise during the Christmas season, offering a mesmerizing journey through millions of multi-colored lights and themed, animated displays. As one of the highlights of Christmas in Branson, the light show runs from dusk until 10 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with an earlier closing at 9 pm on December 31. Admission is priced between $25 and $30 per carload, depending on the day, and $50 for vans carrying 8 to 15 passengers.
