What about the animated light show by Christmas in Color at Expo Idaho in Garden City near Boise? This larger-than-life drive-through features millions of dazzling lights perfectly synchronized to Christmas music you can hear through your radio. Christmas in Color hosts events in particular locations all over the country, and each of them is unforgettable. The holiday display is open Monday through Sunday from 5 pm to 10 pm. The ticket prices range from $35 to $55.

Idaho Botanical Gardens Christmas lights (November 24–December 31, 2023)

Winter Garden aGlow is a Christmas lights display at the Idaho Botanical Gardens. It’s a wonderland that includes a Holiday Express model train display, a tunnel of lights, and, of course, a spectacular display of lights that can literally take your breath away. The show is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Christmas lights in Caldwell, Idaho (November 17–19, 2023)

The Winter Wonderland Festival Opening Weekend in Idaho takes place at Indian Creek Plaza in downtown Caldwell. Every year, the citizens of Caldwell decorate Indian Creek Plaza with a million Christmas lights and turn it into a real winter wonderland. Besides holiday lights viewing, you can also go ice skating, visit Santa, and treat yourself to your favorite delicacies. The show is open Friday through Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Christmas lights in Idaho Falls (November 24–December 31, 2023)

If you are looking for amazingly decorated homes in Idaho Falls, the Owens Family Lights is a must-see Christmas light display that would quickly help you plunge into the holiday atmosphere. Every year, Larry Owens decorates his home with over 75,000 lights, several Disney characters, candy canes, snowmen, and much more. The show runs on loop for 30 minutes everyday from 5 to 10 pm up until New Year’s Eve.

Christmas lights in Lewiston, Idaho (November 18, 2023–the first weekend of January 2024)

The Lewiston community knows how to ignite the holiday spirit, and Winter Spirit is a good case in point. It’s a light show in Locomotive Park that features interactive displays and dancing trees, tempting everyone with its bright colors. The display is open Monday thru Thursday from 4:30 pm to 10 pm, and Wednesday thru Sunday from 4:30 to midnight.
