Poway Winter Festival 2025 in California
Experience winter fun in Southern California
Dates: January 10–11, 2025
It's not every day that you see snow in Southern California. But you can experience real winter fun during the Poway Winter Festival that is held every January in rural San Diego County.
Festival Highlights
Take a break from warm and snowless winter and sled down the snowy hill at Poway Community Park, go ice-skating on a synthetic ice rink, and roast some marshmallows by the bonfire. Enjoy holiday decorations with thousands of twinkling lights and listen to music sets while kids are busy making a big snowman.
Activities
The Poway Winter Festival offers a variety of free activities, including a snow hill with sled use, crafts, bounce houses, snow play areas, carnival games, and photo booths. However, food, specialty vendors, face painting, and pony rides are available for an additional fee. No one will leave the Poway Winter Festival hungry, as there will be lots of snacks and beverages to sample while relaxing in the charming atmosphere of the Winterfest.
