Snowflake Lane in Bellevue 2024, Seattle
Magical snow and dazzling lights in the heart of Bellevue make this the most popular event in the Northwest
Dates: November 29–December 24, 2024
The annual holiday celebration of Snowflake Lane sparkles with colors and lights, drawing in thousands of spectators each night from late November through December. Drummers, toy soldiers coming alive, music choirs and ensembles, and holiday characters all fill the road of the Bellevue Way, spreading joy and holiday cheer. The parade is accompanied by snowfall to get people into the Christmas spirit and help kick off the holidays. Santa Claus also joins the parade to support the cheer.
Parade Program
The cherished Bellevue holiday tradition attracts up to 10,000 people each night, making it the region's most magical holiday scene. Bellevue was named the Most Festive Town in America by The Huffington Post. With falling snow, dazzling lights, and merry holiday music this parade can't be missed! The cast of the parade mainly consist of volunteers, who want to share the merriment of Christmas and the holiday season. The procession is truly a sight to see, with its colorful, vibrant floats and Christmas illumination at the Bellevue Way.
Parade Route
The event takes place along the sidewalks of Bellevue Way & NE 8th in downtown Bellevue, just a 15-minute drive from Seattle. The participants of the parade start marching on Bellevue Way outside Bellevue Square. Then, it proceeds to Lincoln Square, The Lodge, and Macy's. The best places to view this magnificent event are along Bellevue Way and Lincoln Square.
To secure a spot, consider arriving earlier since the roads are usually closed half an hour before the parade. Organizers also suggest coming during the early days of the holiday season, either in late November or early December, because the crowds are a lot smaller than near Christmastime.
Celebration Schedule & Hours
Bellevue Snowflake Lane Parade takes place every night at 7 pm during the holiday season. The vibrant festivities usually last 20 to 30 minutes. In case of severe weather conditions, such as storms or heavy snowfall, the parade may be slightly modified or cancelled, so be sure to check the official resources to receive the most up-to-date information.
