Cincinnati Comic Expo is an annual convention celebrating comics, artwork, cinema, games, toys, and TV. Founded in 2010, it has grown to become the largest event of its kind in the state, drawing tens of thousands of fantasy, horror, anime, and steampunk fans each year.
Event Highlights
Held at the Sharonville Convention Center, located in Sharonville, a suburb of Cincinnati Cincinnati, the Comic Expo gives fans the chance to meet their favorite illustrators, artists, publishers, actors, writers, and cosplayers. Popular events include video game tournaments, photo ops, autograph signings, and panels. A major highlight is the Costume Contest, where hundreds of participants showcase their best costumes to compete for the top prize.
Lineup
This year’s lineup includes a lot of celebrity guests: Chuck Norris, Alyson Court, Alison Sealy-Smith, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, David Wenham, George Buza, Jennifer Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, John Rhys-Davies, Lenore Zann, Matthew Waterson, Ming-Na Wen, and Mira Sorvino. Comic creators such as Aaron Reynolds, Alan Davis, Bart Sears, Dave Aikins, and Larry Houston will also be in attendance.
Tickets & Schedule
The convention spans three days with the following hours: Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Single-day tickets are available starting at $30, while a weekend pass begins at $60. The Weekend VIP Admission for $115 includes additional perks such as a collectible badge and lanyard, early show access (60 minutes on Friday and 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday), a T-shirt, and more. Admission is required for attendees aged 11 and older, with children aged ten and under receiving free entry when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
Parking
The Cincinnati Comic Expo 2024 will be hosted at the Sharonville Convention Center, a leading venue in Cincinnati for sustainable and high-quality events. For the convenience of attendees, the convention center provides free parking. Both on-site and adjacent lots are available, with a total capacity of over 1,000 vehicles.
