Mount Southington is not just an excellent skiing destination. In the early fall, it hosts one of the most popular beer events in the region. Crazy Brew Bash is a one-day festival held at Mount Southington Ski Area every September. Crazy Beer Bash features a continual sampling of hundreds of beers as well as wine and other spirits tastings. The day full of fun is packed with activities, like the Bloody Mary Contest, Cornhole Tournament, Raffle and Prize Giveaways, the Toy Drive, and Video Game Exhibits.
Attendees can enjoy tasty treats from some of the best food trucks in Connecticut, live music, and shopping. Vendors offer arts and crafts as well as ski and snowboard equipment. Proceeds from the Crazy Brew Bash benefit The REACH Foundation, helping children in need — physically, socially, and financially.
Crazy Brew Bash, hosted by Connecticut Valley Brewing Company, runs from noon to 4 pm. This event is only for adults, over 21. Pets are not allowed. Admission includes sampling, a tasting mug, an automatic entry into prize giveaways, free parking, and entertainment. A VIP ticket will let attendees get into Brew Bash 1 hour early.
