Schedule
The 20th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, presented by The Vera Project, will be held at the Seattle Center on October 4 and 5, with festival hours from 4 pm to 10 pm each day. The festival promises a full schedule of activities and entertainment for attendees to enjoy throughout the evening.
Activities
Elysian invites attendees to explore their imaginative world of brewing. The festival is renowned for its extensive selection of pumpkin beers. According to the organizers, over 80 different pumpkin and seasonal beers will be available, including around 20 varieties brewed by Elysian itself. Noteworthy among these is the giant pumpkin, which is selected during the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off held the previous week. This massive pumpkin is hollowed out, filled with beer, sealed, and then tapped at the festival, creating a centerpiece of the event.
In addition to the array of pumpkin beers, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities. The festival features a costume contest where guests can showcase their creativity. There will also be live music and a selection of local food trucks offering diverse culinary options. For those interested in more interactive experiences, there will be a pumpkin carving station and a pie-eating contest. Please note that the event is for those aged 21 and over.
