Wings Over North Georgia Air Show is a favorite family fall event in Georgia. A breathtaking airshow draws thousands of spectators with exciting aircraft competitions, vintage aircraft rides, and a large aircraft showcase. Not to mention lots of live music, barbeque, and other entertainment. In 2025, the headliners of the show are the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Past lineups also included the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor, Tora-Tora-Tora Air Show, and the A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Teams, showing off their skills at the Russell Regional Airport in the town of Rome, Georgia.
The show usually takes place in late October. Attendees can expect to see the best aerobatic and warbird performers in the country, as well as many exhibitions and displays on aviation, both military and civilian. The two-day program includes aerial performances, ground demonstrations, an air racing exhibition, the Military Service Veterans Assembly, the Golden Knights Parachute Demo, the Veterans Parade of Honor & Patriotic Flyovers, and much more. The Wings Over North Georgia air show also has great camping offered next to the airport field.
