Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire is a new medieval-themed event taking place at Lenoir County Fairgrounds in Kinston in April. The family-friendly outdoor faire recreates a Medieval village full of costumed actors, games, and continuous entertainment. Thanks to a realistic historical and fantasy setting, the faire attracts much interest in Lenoir County, Eastern North Carolina.
Entertainment includes jousting, a royal contest, games of dungeons and dragons, sword fighting, caber tossing, and live music. The idea of Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire is to capture the spirit of the Renaissance era and support local businesses and homegrown talent. The faire features many artisans, offering their unique items to the public. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume and participate in the Costume Contest.
Get ready to meet knights, Vikings, pirates, fairies, and royalties. Also, you don't want to miss The King and Queen with their royal court! The faire runs from 10 am to 6 pm. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate. Children aged 5 & under can get in for free.
