Ottawa Comiccon is an annual three-day fan convention held at the EY Centre in Ottawa. The event, dedicated to fantasy, comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and video games, was founded in 2012, featuring William Shatner of Star Trek. It currently attracts about 42,000 fans as well as artists, exhibitors, and actors.

Ottawa Comiccon features family-friendly entertainment, activities, exhibits, and other attractions. It boasts a large dealers' area, The Artists' Alley, a trading-card games area, and costume contests. One of the main highlights of the convention is Masquerade, a non-professional costume competition where participants dress up as comic books, movies, Japanese animation, or video games characters.

Guest photo sessions and structured autograph signings are no less popular. In the past, Ottawa Comiccon was visited by Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings), Doug Jones (The Shape of Water) (Star Trek Discovery), Joonas Suotamo (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead), John Barrowman (Arrow, Doctor Who), Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Bob Layton (Iron Man), Clare Kramer (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Mike Zeck (The Punisher), Nick Bradshaw (Guardians Of The Galaxy), and Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham).

The convention programming runs from 1 pm to 10 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, and from 10:30 am to 6 pm on Sunday. General admission for one day starts at $25.
