
Sound and Light Show on Parliament Hill Featured in
Northern Lights is a 30-minute multimedia show staged on the backdrop of Canada's Parliament Buildings. With the means of sound and light, you can learn about Canada’s history and the country's most important milestones. The free show is in English and French and is featured nightly in Ottawa from early July to early September. In different months the show starts differently depending on when it gets dark. In July the show begins at 10:00 p.m., in August at 9:30 p.m., and in September at 9:00 p.m.
Highly popular Northern Lights show has been taking place since 2015. More than 1 million spectators have experienced sound and light spectacle on the Parliament Hill. The previous show was called Mosaika: Canada through the eyes of its people. It's won more than a dozen national and international awards.
