Abbotsford International Airshow is the premier Canada's aviation event, listed in USA Today's Travel Section as one of the "Top Ten Airshows in the World." Located at the Abbotsford Airport, it's held on the second weekend of August every year.
The air show was founded in 1962 as a community fundraiser and has grown into one of the best of Canada's aviation showcase. Organized by the Abbotsford International Airshow Society, it attracts over 125,000 visitors annually. Drawing aircraft and spectators from all over the world, this three-day event features aerobatics from Canada's Snowbirds, Canadian Forces parachute teams, demonstrations by Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornets, and entries from the Canadian Museum of Flight. Static Aircraft Displays span over 350,000 sq. ft. The public can meet the aircrews and explore the inside and outside of various aircraft from different countries.

In 2024, Abbotsford Airshow will feature United States Air Force F‑22 Raptor Demo Team, RCAF Centennial Flight, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Canadian Forces Skyhawks, Royal Canadian Air Force CF‑18 Hornet Demo Team, Acemaker T-33, US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, Melissa Burns, Kyle Fowler, Bob Carlton, RCAF CT-156 Harvard II, F4U-7 Corsair, and many others.
Tickets
General Admission Tickets for adults are $59.99. The Insider Early Bird price is $29.99. Youth Admission (ages 6-17) is $29.99. Insider Early Bird price is $14.99. Parking Pass is $19.99 (early bird—$12.99). All-day reserved seating along the front show line with unlimited in/out privileges is $12.99 (early bird—$9.99). Carload Pass, which includes single-day admission for all vehicle occupants and parking on the airfield, is $119 (early bird—$89.99). Vanload pass is $184.99 (early bird—$139.99). Premium seating options include Flight Club, an adults-only front showline venue with non-reserved patio table seating, umbrellas, gourmet food truck meal and beverages, including two alcoholic drinks. Tickets to Fight Club costs $99.99 (early bird—$74.99). Tickets to President’s Club, an all-inclusive chalet with patio tables, umbrellas, a separate entrance, indoor & outdoor lounges, a host bar, & premium catering. and VIP parking, costs $239.99 (early bird—$184.99).
Air Show Schedule
The Abbotsford International Airshow grounds are open from 2:30 pm until 10 pm on Friday and from 9:30 am until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The main flights are between 5 pm and 8:30 pm on Friday and from 11:30 am until 4:30 pm over the weekend.
One of the main highlights of Abbotsford Airshow is the Twilight Show, with spectacular evening after-dark performances, featuring colorful pyrotechnics, drone show, and various surprises. The Twilight Show will take place at 9:30 pm on Friday.
