The most interesting routes for bike adventures are Antur Stiniog—home to six downhill and freeride trails of various difficulties. Coed Llandegla is among best mountain bike areas in North Wales. Brechfa is a huge all-weather forest area. Visit Bike Park Wales—the ski resort of the bike world. Afan Forest Park offers hill trails and a bike park. Nant-yr-Arian Forest consists of some nice rocky descents. Elan Valley offers a quiet ride and a perfect option for enjoying the scenery. The Brecon Beacons National Park trails feature lots of steep drops and descents for the thrill seekers!
Mounting biking in Wales is available throughout the whole year but undoubtedly, the ideal period is from the end of spring (late May) to mid-autumn (late October).
