Arlington Skyfest 2024 in Washington

Arlington Skyfest is a popular community event taking place at Arlington Airport in northern Snohomish County. Arlington Skyfest attracts over 10,000 visitors to Arlington in August. The weekend festival features hot air balloons, an illuminated drone show, and plenty of big bombers on display. In addition to an air show and military vehicles, the public can enjoy live music and food trucks. A camping site for about 300 campers is available at the festival grounds.

Skyfest Highlights

On the ground, the public can see B-17, P-51, B-25, F4-U, and other impressive aircraft. Younger visitors can enjoy the kids' corner with various activities, bouncy houses, as well as watch a movie on a large screen before the main activities start. Flying stimulators and free introductory flights are available for youth. The highlights also include flyovers, and helicopter tours.

2024 Schedule

On Saturday, August 17, the public can enjoy aircraft displays, Camp Adams military display and a classic car show, movies on the big screen as well as the Evening Airshow & Balloon Glow, featuring special shaped balloons. The evening ends with the Nighttime Drone Spectacular, featuring even more drones from last year. On Sunday, the festival offers free family fun activities on East side of Airport, Young Eagles flights, Arlington Fire & Police displays, face painting & bouncy houses.

General Admission

General admission to the festival is “tailgate style.” Green Parking zone is $75 per car (up to 8 people), Blue Parking zone is $45 per car.Weekend Camping Pass is $85. Car show registration is $20.

Skyfest has been launched to replace the annual Arlington Fly-In, which was discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic. Festivities culminate on Sunday, Community Fun Day at the airport. The evening program includes an airshow, an evening balloon glow, and a drone show.
