The Greater Austin Comic Convention (GACC) is a fan gathering dedicated to all things popular culture. Held at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, the two-day event is featuring plenty of entertainment and family-friendly activities. Tens of thousands of comics, anime, horror, fantasy, Sci-Fi, and gaming fans are expected to attend.
Among the highlights of the Greater Austin Comic Convention are gaming competitions, cosplay contests, and a superhero theme car show. The large exhibition floor is filled with vendors offering collectibles, merchandise, toys, books, and costumes. Another big attraction is a celebrity line-up. Actors, artists, and directors take part in panels, photo ops, and autograph sessions. Previous guests of GACC included Karan Ashley, Gregg Berge, Michael Biehn, Justin Briner, Howard Chaykin, Mike Grell, Larry Hama, Tim Rose, Erik Estrada, Tom Kane, Billy Dee Williams, Ray Park, Doug Jones, and Austin St. John.
