Edmonton Expo is a popular culture convention dedicated to comics, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, superheroes, anime, and video games. Held at the Edmonton Expo Centre, the annual three-day convention draws tens of thousands of people thanks to its family-friendly attractions.
Visitors can shop among hundreds of retailers in the vast exhibition hall, filled with comic books, games, memorabilia, blu-ray, videos, toys, collectibles, and apparel. The comic creator area next to Artist Alley features comic legends, writers, illustrators, and pro artists. Spectators can see professional artists compete in Sketch Duels or shop for original art and sketches.

Meeting celebrities is another highlight of Edmonton Expo. Previous guests included Stan Lee, Jason Momoa, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Mackie, Gaten Matarazzo, Summer Glau, Ron Perlman, Karl Urban, John Barrowman, Matthew Lewis, George Takei, Christopher Eccleston, Zach Aguilar, Jonny Cruz, Corey Feldman, Lou Ferrigno, Maile Flanagan, Ryan Hurst, Charles Martinet, Lana Parrilla, and Charlet Chung.

Tickets and Hours
The early bird three-day pass to the Edmonton Expo is $59. The regular price is $89. Friday early bird admission is $23. Saturday early bird admission is $38. Sunday - $28. Youth single-day early bird admission for ages 13-17 is $18 for Friday, $28 for Saturday, and $23 for Sunday. Early bird tickets are available through June 20. Child pass (ages 6-12) for all days is $12.
The weekend of exciting cosplay and citywide events in Edmonton runs from 4 to 9 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
