Chagstock Festival started back in 2003 as a micro-festival in the festival organizer's garden where a group of friends were sharing music, dance, and space. In 2006, they decided to make their private event public. The first festival took place in 2007 at the current Whiddon Down site with beautiful vistas over the northern edge of Dartmoor.
