During the Golden Week there are numerous boat races around Okinawa, with most impressive being Naha Hari. The boats are decorated with different traditional characters and creatures. Large teams represent various companies, schools, and even the army. It's a great team-building event for the community and a nice way to celebrate good marine harvests.
