The Weston area has a long history of apple growing. Applefest is a great occasion to celebrate the delicious fall crop, indulging in apple pies, dumplings, fritters, and other delicious treats. The festival also includes exciting demonstrations. Attendees can learn how apple butter and apple cider are made. Other highlights of the festival include the Applefest parade, which goes down Main St, at 10 am on Saturday. The parade features marching bands, antique tractors, classic cars, and fire trucks.
