Every October, Sherman Oaks holds the largest street party in the Greater Los Angeles area. The day full of fun, delicious food, and socializing attracts over 100,000 guests. Over 200 vendors offer crafts, arts, and local food specialties. The whole family will be busy with hopping on a zip line, a Ferris wheel, listening to live music, and watching performances. All local restaurants and businesses look forward to this massive event, displaying their best products.
The Sherman Oaks Street Fair extends along Ventura Blvd. between Van Nuys Blvd. and Kester Avenue. The fair is free and open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can participate in interactive exhibits, various games, perform on a community stage, and see a pet expo. The Sherman Oaks Street Fair has become an annual tradition since the 1990s, bringing together families of the San Fernando Valley.
