Maine Cheese Guild 2024

The Maine Cheese Guild hosts a grand cheese festival at Manson Park in Pittsfield. Designed to support and celebrate the Maine cheesemaking community, the Maine Cheese Festival offers fun and entertainment for all. Featuring a wide array of Maine cheesemakers and a variety of local artisanal products, this event is sure to delight your taste buds.

Festival Highlights

The Maine Cheese Guild visitors get an opportunity to try different finger-licking types of cheese and Maine's wine, enjoy live music, visit the education tent, and meet many like-minded people.

Program & Activities

The Maine Cheese Festival program features the Main Stage with all-day music performances by local bands and solo artists. It also hosts the Maine Cheese Awards Ceremony. Attendees can enjoy cooking and food preparation demonstrations, as well as children's activities. The festivities include a Maine beer and wine garden offering tastings and products for purchase "to go." Several food trucks will serve delicious creations made with local ingredients, and numerous Maine artisan food vendors will be present.

The festival showcases the city's artisanal creameries, their farms, cheeses, and animals. Visitors can meet local cheesemakers and learn where their cheese comes from.

The Maine Cheese Guild celebrates its 21st anniversary in 2024. This year's festival will take place on October 8, starting at 11 am. It's the perfect event for all cheese lovers.

Tickets

Early Bird tickets for the Maine Cheese Festival, allowing entry at 11 am, are priced at $40 plus $2.48 in fees. General Admission tickets, with a 12 pm entry time, cost $27 plus $1.97 in fees. Kids under ten can enter for free, but there's an optional $11 donation "ticket" if you'd like to contribute.
