The Chocolate Festival (Eurochocolate) is a famous and large exhibition that takes place in Perugia city in the Umbria region. Every year, approximately one million visitors come to taste this sweet event. During the festival, you will find plenty of chocolate produced by Baci Perugina (the local chocolate company) and a selection of sweets displayed by other countries as well. During your visit, you can participate in different cooking workshops, chocolate tastings, and performances and shows directly related to chocolate. Imagine how many delicious treats you will find here—from chocolate liqueurs to hot chocolate and even chocolate kebabs!

The festival lasts for ten days in October. If you're planning a visit, it's best to attend on the first Sunday of the festival to be able to observe how artists create enormous chocolate sculptures.
