Northeast Balloon Festival takes place every summer in Northampton, Western Massachusetts, attracting a lot of visitors from all over New England. The event features about 20 hot air balloons, balloon rides, and there is plenty of entertainment. Visitors can take advantage of food trucks, live music, amusement rides, a petting zoo, a kids' zone as well as arts and crafts fair.
The schedule of the three-day Northeast Baloon Festival features tethered rides on Friday evening. Balloons lift-off takes place at 4 am on Saturday and Sunday. The highlight of the festival is Night Glow that takes place on Saturday evening. The full-weekend event usually takes place at The Three County Fairgrounds.
