Wings Over Muskegon Air Show, in collaboration with the Yankee Air Museum, returns to Muskegon from August 9 to 11, 2024. This annual event promises a captivating showcase of aviation marvels, from WWII bombers to modern-day jet performances, offering an unforgettable experience for aviation enthusiasts of all ages.
Schedule and Performers
The festivities kick off with the Friday Twilight Show presented by Howmet Aerospace. Ground displays and captivating aerial performances await as the grounds open at 5 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the main air show takes center stage, beginning at 1 pm and concluding at 3 pm each day.
Attendees can expect a captivating display of aircraft. The lineup of aerial performers including the A-10 Demo Team, the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II, the Hooligan Flight Team, and many more, promise to deliver thrilling experiences. With new additions continuously joining the roster, there's always something exciting to see.
Flight Adventures
For those seeking an extra adrenaline rush, the Yankee Air Museum offers to book a once-in-a-lifetime flight on one of the historic aircraft. Visitors can experience the thrill of flight aboard iconic planes such as the B-25 Rosie’s Reply Bomber, the B-17 Yankee Lady, the C-47 Hairless Joe Skytrain, and the UH-1H Huey.
Prices vary depending on the aircraft and the duration of the flight. Flights will be available throughout the event, with options to purchase tickets online in advance or as a walk-up during the show. Please note that the Air Adventure ticket does not serve as an entry pass to the show.
Tickets and Parking
All tickets must be purchased online in advance, with no on-site ticket booths available. General admission tickets start at $25 for adults, while children aged 15 and under enjoy free entry. Parking passes range from $15 to $35 per vehicle and must be purchased separately. Additionally, exclusive club packages are available for those seeking a premium experience, offering amenities such as VIP seating, complimentary beverages, and gourmet meals.
The lineup of aircraft may change due to various factors, such as maintenance, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Once a ticket is purchased, refunds are not available, since the show serves as a primary fundraiser for the Yankee Air Museum.
Entry Guidelines
