The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival is a cherished local tradition, bringing warmth and joy to thousands of families every holiday season. This beloved event creates lasting memories with its festive displays and holiday magic, making it a must-visit for the community each year.

Events & Activities

The largest Christmas light show in the state dazzles visitors with over 1.5 million twinkling lights spread across 40 acres in Jones Park. The festival offers a range of attractions, including carnival rides, the Harbor Lights Train Station for holiday train rides, and Santa’s Village, where elves and St. Nick greet the little ones. Visitors can warm up at designated stations, enjoy a trolley ride, or visit food stations for hot chocolate and s'mores. A highlight of the festival is the Dancing Trees, a magical display of choreographed lights that runs for over two hours, creating a captivating holiday experience.

Schedule & Tickets

The festival hours are 5:30 pm through 10:30 pm, with Santa visits being scheduled from 6 pm to 10 pm, except Christmas Day when the old man is busy delivering presents. Pictures with Santa are included in the admission prices, which are $15–20 for adults, $5 for kids aged five to twelve, and free for the youngest festival-goers. Free parking slots are available at the Coast Transit Authority (CTA) and Jones Park's west entrance at the corner of Hwy 90 and 49.
