Fan Expo New Orleans 2025

Fan Expo New Orleans (formerly known as Comic Con New Orleans) is an annual convention dedicated to comic books, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, anime, and video games. Every January, tens of thousands of fans flock to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to meet actors, directors, comic book writers, and artists.

Convention Program & Events

The list of Fan Expo New Orleans attractions includes autograph sessions, photo ops, panel discussions, comic artists battles, “How To” workshops, and cosplay competitions. The large show floor is packed with vendors offering costumes, books, video games, toys, and collectibles. From Q&A sessions to photo opportunities to panels, demonstrations, and workshops, the event has something for everyone.

Cosplay Craftsmanship Cup

One of the most popular events of the convention is the Fan Expo Cosplay Craftsmanship Cup. Thousands of cosplayers show off their craftsmanship skills and compete for cash prizes. The contestants are judged on Best in Show, Best Masters, Best Journeyman, Best Novice, and Sustainability Award. the winners receive a cash prize, and VIP passes to the next Fan Expo New Orleans edition.

2025 Edition Guests

With each new edition, FanExpo New Orleans gives center stage to a number of beloved actors, directions, comic artists, cosplayers, and celebrities. This year, the event features an exclusive panel from Back to the Future stars, including Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Tom Wilson. Additionally, visitors have a chance to meet Tom Welling, Jodie Whittaker, Michael Rosenbaum, Sara Tomko, Corbin Bleu, Anthony Daniels, and many others.

Schedule & Hours

The show hours differ depending on the day. On Friday, the convention runs from 3 pm to 8 pm, while on Saturday, attendees can enjoy all the fun at the center from 10 am until 7 pm. On Sunday, the show operates from 10 am to 5 pm.

Tickets

Convention offers numerous ticket options for everyone. Prices are listed as of November 20th and may increase as the date approaches. Friday single day passes cost $29 for adults and $24 for youth between 13 and 17 years old. Saturday passes cost $50 for adults and $40 for youth, while Sunday passes can be purchased at a price point of $39 for adults and $34 for youth. Children's pass costs $12. Three-day pass costs $79. Family passes vary from $63 to $110. VIP Package costs $299.
