The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival is the biggest expo of meat-free plant-based products, featuring over 100 vendors and exhibitors in the Metropolitan Pavilion every year in mid-May. The festival hosts many cooking demonstrations, health, and wellness vendors and famous guest speakers, such as Adam Sobel, owner of The Cinnamon Snail food truck. The family-friendly event offers some activities for kids, like a scavenger hunt and cooking vegan snacks.

The two-day festival also offers tastings from the most famous vegetarian restaurants and food companies in NYC. Check out the stands by Anxious Potatoes Co., Arbonne, Beyond better by Boulder Vegans, Bona Bona Ice Cream, Burger Urway, Kellys Croutons, Kind Sugar, Marty’s V Burger, Mo’pweeze Bakery, Pancho Foods, Rescue Chocolate, These Wingz, Partake Foods, Veggie Grub, and many others.

The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival has been held since 2010. Festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission ticket is $30 per day. Reduced $5 end-of-day tickets will be available from 3:30 pm each day. The profits from the festival are donated to farmed animal protection organizations.
