The Columbus Food Truck Festival takes place every August at The Scioto Mile & Bicentennial Park in Columbus, Ohio. The two-day fest stretches along river banks, the Rich Street Bridge, part of Washington Boulevard and Park and Genoa Park. Being one of the most awaited food events, the Columbus Food Truck Festival features over 60 food trucks offering hundreds of delicious meals. Entertainment includes dozens of bands on two stages: in Bicentennial Park and on the west side of Washington Street. Saturday is kids' fun activities day with some kids games and face painters. There is also an arts and crafts fair.
The Columbus Food Truck Festival, organized by Mike Gallicchio and Chas Kaplan, was first held in 2010. In 2017 it was named the Best Foodie Event in the state by Ohio Magazine. The festival is free and runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
