San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival 2024

For 15 years, the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival has been the largest West Coast wine and culinary event. It is definitely a must for the foodies of San Diego. Over a week in November, the festival features wine-tasting seminars, cooking classes by award-winning chefs, and unforgettable luncheons and dinners. The event gathers hundreds of wineries and over 70 celebrated chefs, farmers, and fishermen.

Festival Highlights

The festival offers more than 20 gourmet experiences during the Grand Weekend celebration. Each experience features cult wines, celebrity chef tastings, and the opportunity to meet chefs who are behind them. The highlight of the festival is the star-studded Grand Tasting Event, held on the magnificent San Diego Bay.

Grand Tasting (November 9, 2024)

Grand Tasting is the biggest foodie party of the year! Taking place at the Embarcadero Marina Park North in Port of San Diego from 11 am to 3 pm, the Grand Tasting is a vibrant celebration of everything delicious. Renowned chefs create a gastronomic playground of opportunity. The beautiful coastal tasting features over 200 wineries, breweries, and spirits purveyors, as well as over 80 of the West Coast and Baja’s top chefs and restaurants. In addition to gourmet foods, the public can enjoy art, live musical entertainment, and the thrilling “Chef of the Fest Competition,” with up to $5,000 in cash and prizes. Grand Fiesta (November 10, 2024)

The glorious finale of the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival is the Grand Fiesta, a colorful celebration of San Diego’s cross-border connection to Latin America. The event, held at Liberty Station Ingram Plaza from 11 am to 3 pm, features live music, art, wines, and spirits of Mexico, as well as plenty of delicious tacos. The public can meet award-winning chefs, creating world-class cuisine, try exceptional wines, craft beer, and traditional Mexican spirits.
