Burleson 4th of July Parade
With thousands of participants, the Burleson 4th of July Parade is a signature annual event in the city. Spectators gather at Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza in Old Town and line the neighboring street. The parade starts at 9 am at the corner of SE Gregory and SW Johnson Awe. It travels to Ellison St, to S. Wilson, to Miller, Warren, and back to Gregory. The whole route is about two miles. Judges review stands are located at Warren Park and next to City Hall.
Red, White & BTX Fireworks show
In the afternoon, the whole city gathers for the Red, White & BTX annual 4th of July celebration. The free community festival takes place on the grounds of Chisenhall Sports Complex. Thousands of people gather to rejoice in the festive atmosphere. The gates open at 5 pm, with plenty of entertainment and family-friendly fun available for the public. "The Burleson Best" concert featuring prominent local artists is starting at 7:30 pm. The fireworks show begins at 9:20 pm.
