Toronto's Festival of Beer 2024
Take three days off to discover your favorite beer
Dates: July 26-28, 2024
Toronto Festival of Beer (TFOB, also known as Beerfest) is the largest beer festival in Canada. Every summer, since 1996, beer lovers and producers have been gathering for a long weekend in Toronto.
The number of beer brands showcased at the festival varies from year to year. The visitors can expect to enjoy the beers made by around 90-120 national and international manufacturers as well as by local craft breweries. A vast selection of lager, stout, fruit beer, ales, and other beers attracts 30,000 visitors annually. Moreover, the beer is not the only drink that is offered. One could also taste ciders and ready-to-drink beverages.
As beer-tasting is a rather time-consuming activity, for those who feel hungry, multiple food vendors from some of Toronto’s most popular restaurants serve various meals. Aside from drinks and food, the visitors may enjoy music shows that occur at the festival every day.
To take part in the TFOB, a beer lover should buy a ticket of one type ranging from $45 to $115. A general admission ticket includes five tokens for beer samples, food, and souvenirs. The Hoptimized ticket provides early access to the festival and 10 tokens. The VIP ticket offers early express entrance, 10 tokens, and a meal with two drinks in the VIP area. Both tickets have their own separate entrance for visitors' convenience. The Club TFOB one costs $115 and includes the perks of the VIP ticket, 15 tokens, private bars, and lounge zone access.
The prices depend on the type of ticket and the time of purchase. The Early Bird tickets are the cheapest ones, and with each of the three tiers the cost grows. Also, a separate ticket is required for each day of Beerfest.
The event takes place in Bandshell Park, an open-air concert venue. Keep in mind that TFOB is a 19+ event.
