Fan Expo Boston (also known as Boston Comic Con) is a popular culture convention held every summer at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The fan gathering, which attracts hundreds of thousands of people, is dedicated to comics, sci-fi, anime, horror, and gaming.
Founded on March 18, 2007, as Boston Comic Con, the convention was renamed to Fan Expo Boston ten years later. Cosplay has been one of its main attractions throughout the years. Thousands compete in the Masters of Cosplay Grand Prix or simply walk Cosplay Red Carpet to show off their amazing costumes in front of cheering fans.
Other highlights of the three-day family-friendly event include celebrity panels, cosplay and costume contests, an art auction, a tabletop/CCG/RPG gaming room, and more. Artists Alley allows fans to meet their favorite creators and get their autographs as well as see original art. The exhibition floor features hundreds of retailers selling comics, memorabilia, DVDs, videos, games, toys, and costumes.

The show runs from 4 to 9 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
