Apple Valley Airshow is a thrilling, family-friendly yearly event held annually. The show features a variety of aerial displays performed by some of the top pilots in the world. You’ll witness thrilling stunts, swift maneuvers, and breathtaking displays of aviation technology. There will also be static aircraft displays, allowing visitors to get close to some of the most cutting-edge aircraft ever built.

Schedule of Activities at the Air Show

Apple Valley Airshow hours are from 10 am to 3 pm. In addition to the air performances, the event features numerous warbirds, a car show, food vendors, aviation booths, souvenirs, and a rock-climbing tower for adventurous individuals looking to challenge their skills and endurance. The event also features a STEM Expo tent for all ages, offering lessons in flying principles, model airplanes, rocket building, and a General Atomics display highlighting unmanned aircraft.

Last year, the daylong event showcased the USAF A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team led by Capt. Lindsay “MAD” Johnson and the Air Force Heritage Flight Team performed by Steven Hinton in the P-51 Wee Willy II. The Napa Auto Parts Car Show delighted attendees with military and classic hot rods on exhibit.

The schedule included the Round Canopy Parachute USA Team jumping from the C-53 Skytrooper D-Day Doll, the Dawn Patrol RV Formation Team, aerobatics by Undaunted Airshows, Air Racer Toney Higa in the Pitts S-1S, John Collver in his AT-6/SNJ “Wardog,” Yuchi Takagi in the Pitts, Torrey Ward in the Micro Jets, and Chuck Coleman showcasing extreme aerobatics in his Extra 300L, having trained actors for the Top Gun: Maverick movie.

Location & Tickets

The Apple Valley Airshow is held at the Apple Valley Airport, located 7 miles (11 km) from Apple Valley, California. A free parking lot is provided for visitors' convenience. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children under 11. Active-duty military tickets are $7 with ID.
