The Pensacola Interstate Fair is held every October at Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds in Pensacola, Florida. A favourite local entertainment event boasts big-name live concerts, exciting games, rides, agricultural exhibits and displays, and much more. The carnival midway, with over 60 rides and delicious foods have been entertaining Pensacola families for many years. The fair was started in the 1960s providing excellent live music, cultural and art shows, livestock auctions and much more.
Every year, the fair has a Kid's Day when all kids ages 11 younger are admitted free until 2 p.m.Popular attractions include the Banana Derby when monkey jockeys race astride canine steeds. There is also a Professional Bull Riding, a real rodeo experience with clown shows and a calf scramble.
All musical shows on the Pepsi Open Air Stage at the fair are free with a general admission ticket. Previous lineups included Mickey Thomas, Mitchell Tenpenny, Jordan Davis, Seaforth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and various tribute bands.
