Whip City Brewfest is an annual event held on Central Street in Downtown Westfield. The festival showcases local craft breweries and vendors. This beloved summer event features unlimited beer tastings, arts &crafts, food trucks, live music, raffles, and much more. Proceeds from the Westfield Brewfest benefit Amelia Park Children's Museum in Westfield. The festival is helping to bring fresh exhibits and programs to the young children.
Many Massachusetts breweries and restaurants take part in Whip City Brewfest, including Progression Brewing, Tin Bridge, Oakholm Brewing, Skyline, Great Awakening, Amherst Brewing, Kismet, and White Lion. Food vendors include Macken's and North Elm Butcher Block. Whip City Brewfest has been held annually since 2017, except for 2020, when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival runs for one day only from 1pm to 5 pm. General admission tickets start at $40 if purchased in advance. VIP early-admission tickets are $55. The upgrade allows attendees to be admitted one hour early with smaller crowds, better access to brewery stalls. It also includes a VIP goody-bag.
