During the two-week period following the New Year, quite a few Chinese restaurants in the city offer specials, so it is a perfect time to indulge in such delicacies as hot pot, dumplings, and spring rolls.
CNY at Midtown Global Market (February 10, 2024, TBA)
One of the most popular Chinese New Year Celebrations is held at Midtown Global Market in the Midtown Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis. A bustling showcase for international foods and crafts from different countries is combined with live music and traditional lion dances as well as activities organized by the Chinese Heritage Foundation. Kids can also do crafts and fun competitions.
