The Paynesville Airshow is a popular annual event held in Paynesville. This small-sized airshow is a beloved community gathering, offering plenty of family-friendly attractions. Schedule of Events

The gates for the Paynesville Airshow open at 9 am, and airplane rides start at the same time. Those interested in airplane rides can sign up at the airport on the day of the event. The Farmer's Market, Firehouse Coffee, and Jumpstart Nutrition vendors also open at 9 am, providing early attendees with refreshments and local goods. Concessions will be available from 10 am to 5 pm, and the beer tent will open at 11 am. Air displays start at about 1 pm, featuring multiple performance planes and pilots. Additional attractions include a Flour Drop Contest and a USA Air Force virtual flight simulator.

Lineup of Airshows

The first airshow of the day usually commences at 1 pm, featuring thrilling performances by Brit Lincoln, Galen Killam, Erik Edgren, Lee Crouch, and Craig Gifford. This spectacular lineup promises an exciting display of aerial acrobatics and precision flying. Following the excitement of the initial performances, the second airshow is usually scheduled to start at 4 pm. This show will showcase the incredible skills of the Vanguard Squadron, Dan Reeves, Paul Lindemann, and Erik Edgren.

Tickets and Location

The airshow, held by Friends of the Paynesville Airport, is free for the public. It is held at Paynesville Airport, about 36 miles (58 km) southwest of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Attendees will find parking available across the road from the airport and at Paynesville High School. Shuttles will be provided from both locations to ensure easy and convenient access to the event.
