Pahrump Balloon Festival takes place every February at Petrack Park, Pahrump, Nevada. Over 30 hot air balloons from all over the western states make up a colorful display in the skies over Pahrump, a vibrant city, 60 miles (96 km) west of Las Vegas. In addition to ballooning, Pahrump offers hiking, golfing, and winery tours.
As mentioned, there's more to do at the Pahrump Hot Air Balloon Festival than just take in the amazing sight of balloons. Specifically, the Pahrump Hot Air Balloon Festival's program runs for three days, featuring hot air balloon rides, a "Walk inside a balloon," a carnival, a rodeo, and a car show. You are also welcome to join the Glow in the Park–usually on Friday and Saturday evenings at about 6 pm. The festival ends on Sunday afternoon.
